Amber and Linda and Brian were to come here this am--before they would go to the Airport. Everyone knew except Amber--and she was the driver. You see Larry left early for Crater Lake AGAIN. He is on the Board for friends of Crater Lake and there was a meeting up there today. (To Crater Lake 2 days in a row) I prepared a little brunch for the bunch--all to no avail. Linda called with the news that Amber would not be available until later so invited us over to bid Brian goodbye. We had a good little visit before they took off for the Airport.--Amber was the driver. Now we wonder when we will ever see Brian again--who knows. From there we had an appt. with the therapist in J. so see what to do with Elmer dear and his right leg-ankle etc. This was just to talk about what to do. From there we stopped at Bi-Mart for a couple of things--then on up the way to T.Bird for orange juice and milk--then on up towards home to stop at the Bread Outlet for Elmer's favorite bread--then on towards home--stopped at the P>O>then home. That was a busy few hours. I think Brian landed in Seattle before we arrived home.
Elmer is back using at least one crutch. There seems to be something wrong in his ankle area--just not doing well at all. It is now affecting his knee and hip???? We just finished our dinner and he is down for a rest and nap. I feel so sorry for him and he feels so sorry for me--thinks I am doing too much (I am really not). But he is always so loving and kind.
This is about the end of our hot weather--they say. We really need rain.
I made salmon quiche yesterday--so good.
Today we had a Stouffers --good.
Also stopped on the way home and bot tomatoes etc.
Poor Elmer dear I feel so sorry for him. Hopefully he will not have to have sx again.
I didn't mean to complain so much.
