Busy

Elmer dear just arose.  I insist that he take a rest after being up so many hours.  This keeps the swelling down and decreases the pain.  He did quite well today.

 

We took off for Win-Co mid morning.  He and Bud went along for the ride.  Elmer is not ready to walk around in that huge Win-Co yet.  Perhaps the next time we are out of everything.  I only spent $77.00 today..  But he does help me get the gro into the trunk and then when we get home he takes care of all the veggies and carries in the heavy stuff.  Oh, of course we had chicken for our dinner--so easy and good.

 

Thanks so much, Helen, for the email that just arrived telling us that Lloyd had just called from Phnom Penh--wherever that is.  Now Dave wants him to go with him to Argentina Sept. 28-Oct. 4 ????????

 

Elmer's accident happened almost 7 mo. ago and the sx was 4 months ago--he sees Dr. tomorrow.

 

It was cool today with even a wee bit of rain but the 90's are coming back!!!

 

I talked with Geraldine Oeser today.  Her friend, Gene, who has been her "friend" since her husband  died a few years ago --anyway Gene has not been feeling well for quite awhile and now the verdict is CANCER in the lungs--liver and bones.  That does not look good.  She is taking care of him--lives a few houses away from each other in the Mobile Park in Talent.

 

Caedmon is late today but I know he will remember his GG--he has more or less promised to send an email everyday.  Wouldn't it be something if GG heard from the entire family every day!!!!!!!!!

 

I had better check on my family.  gg
